 Mala Making Workshop with Laurin
Mala beads have been used for centuries to aid in meditation and to carry intention. In this workshop you will create your own by setting a personal intention, mantra, or affirmation, and then choosing beads and crystals that support it! Laurin will guide you through the process of making your own Mala, and show you how to use it in your meditation practice. All materials will be provided, and you will leave with your own unique Mala that you can wear and use. Join us for a DIY Community Night: learn to crochet your own Mug Rug! Liz will guide you through all the steps necessary to complete your own project from start to finish (materials are also provided). Leave with your own handmade piece, as well as the tools and knowledge necessary to expand on your new skill! A more advanced version of this project will be available to experienced crocheters who would like to hone their skills ~ OR, if you have a project on the go and would like some help, bring it along!
