50 Hour Yin Yoga
Teacher Training

50 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Our next Yin Yoga Teacher Training will begin in March 2026.

Feel the difference a regular Yin Yoga practice makes:

~ A calm mind and more space between thoughts
~ Tissues that are supple and responsive
~ A deep sense of safety and connection in your body
~ Urgency is replaced with ease, patience, and trust
~ Your joints find more mobility and space, making stillness and sleep easier
~ Movement feels more joyful, and you're more sensitive to what your body feels
~ You feel tuned in to your inner knowing, and can listen more deeply to your body's wisdom
~ Your nervous system is more flexible, adaptable, and defaults to calm and alert more frequently

Yin is the softer side of yoga: slow, receptive, allowing. Exploring gently activating shapes in the body, largely seated and reclining postures, where we use our breath in the longer holds to dissolve deeply held tension in body and mind.

Yin Yoga is the perfect compliment to our busy lifestyles, allowing the body and mind to find a slower pace and the deep inner stillness we each innately crave. Although you may be familiar with the look of many of Yin Yoga poses, we approach them in a very different way. Holding the postures longer, typically from two to five minutes, allows the relaxation response to kick in, and the muscles to release so we can get into the deeper tissues: ligaments, tendons, fascia, and even the bones. Experience a slower, more meditative practice and feel a balance of your yin and yang energies. Yin Yoga is suitable for most bodies, including those with injuries and limited mobility.

Discover how to teach it yourself, and offer this quiet, insightful practice to others!
Our 50 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training runs for 4 full days (on weekends), with additional online content including practices and a pose library. Please see below for information on the curriculum, dates, and tuition fees. We have a limited amount of space in-studio, and the course is capped at 8 participants for a more intimate learning experience.

The course is presented by experienced Yin Yoga Teacher and former owner of Kala Yoga, Laurin Wolf. All contact hours will be completed with this instructor, comprised of live sessions and some pre-recorded online content.
